The Permit Specialist conducts required research for permit requirements based on the job type and agency for which the work is to be performed. They will be responsible for researching               property appraiser sites, county GIS, legal documents to find plats, easements, right of way dimensions, etc. as a necessary function of their job. The Permit Specialist will draw and draft permit       sketches that adhere to agency specific requirements. This person will be working in a team with Distribution Designers/Engineers for overhead and underground electric distribution projects.
      
      Responsibilities:
•    -Prepares computer-assisted drawings that show work to be completed by the client that outlines right-of-way boundaries and other specific measurements necessary to the project
-Constant communication with client to ensure drawings we’ve created are approved and ready to be submitted. If not, corrections required
-Understand Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and utilize appropriate standards to drawings
-Understand Right of Way, Easements, Road Ownership, property boundaries
-Tracks and updates permitting requirements
-Stays current on client guideline changes

Job description
CMN Title and Acquisitions is seeking a GIS Specialist to join our team as we work on projects within the oil and gas, utility right of way, and/or renewable sectors. In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing support for project development goals as it relates to mapping. The GIS Mapper will be required to work with team members to complete project goals. Qualified applicants should be able to create maps and perform a wide range of geospatial analyses in support of environmental permitting, environmental field surveys, and construction compliance for a variety of power-related projects; including, but not limited to, high voltage transmission lines, wind and solar energy facilities, transportation infrastructure and oil and gas pipelines. Applicants are required to have a minimum of 3 years experience in the GIS field and should be detail-oriented as well as highly organized.

Qualifications
•    5+ years of GIS experience or knowledge
•    BS or Masters in GIS, Geography, Project Management, Business Management, or related discipline
•    Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality deliverables
•    Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally

Knowledge and Experience
•    Experience and working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software is required

Job Description

CMN Title and Acquisitions is seeking Right of Way (ROW) Agents across Multiple Locations in the southern U.S. to support projects in the pipeline, electric distribution/transmission, utility, and/or renewable sectors. The ROW agent is expected to call, coordinate and schedule in-person visits to the landowner. Prepare mailouts to landowners that cannot be physically located or reached via telephone. Handle negotiations and communications with landowners. Plan and organize workload, adjust to changing priorities, and work well under pressure with minimal supervision. Respond to deadlines, changes in project areas, project scope, and assignment locations. Update weekly status reports to ensure there are no outstanding real property issues. Must be able to report to project location for meetings when necessary.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
•    Must have a minimum of three years of experience in the Right of Way industry
•    Good understanding of applicable laws, rules, regulations, Right of way policies, procedures, and terminology
•    Knowledge of settlement instruments and contract terms
•    Ability to plan and organize workload, adjust to changing priorities, and work well under pressure with minimal supervision
•    Ability to complete right-of-way transactions independently
•    Knowledge of property legal descriptions, title reports, and instruments of ownership
•    Must be proficient in land title research
•    Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
•    Must be well organized and detail oriented

Responsibilities

CMN Title & Acquisitions is actively seeking title examiners with surface and sub-surface experience for upcoming projects within the oil & gas, utility right-of-way and/or renewable sectors. Potential projects in Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana. Qualified applicants should be organized, self-motivated, possess an ability to work with others, quality communication skills, ability to review and interpret project maps/plans/google earth files, interpret and summarize recorded documents, provide detailed reports, etc... Some title research could be remote, however daily trips to courthouse will be necessary as needed.
Qualifications
•    A minimum of 3 years experience in title research/examination
•    Business knowledge and familiarity with surface easement contract law
•    Ability to perform extensive title research and generate ownership reports
•    Strong organizational skills and must be able to effectively multi-task given the array of responsibilities
•    Proficient in the suite of Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Responsibilities
•    Conduct extensive research on ownership and verify titles using courthouse records
•    Perform internal and external due diligence to ensure accuracy and completeness of land rights or to identify and bring forward deficiencies requiring remedial action.
•    Conduct extensive title research, compiling deeds and other pertinent instruments to be able to generate ownership reports
•    Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as within a team environment.
•    Position is remote will require travel to court houses as needed
